Default PS Hoses and my Options.

I'm trying to install PS hoses on my LS1 conversion and I have run into a problem. The Alt and the PS are opposite compared to stock making plumbing more difficult. I made up hoses out of new fittings and hoses, but the back and forth movement binds the hose. There is a cover on the back of the alt and the motor mount bolt that leaves about 1 1/2" of clearance. I guess I can trim the cover and cut the bolt back freeing up an additional 1" of clearance. What other options do I have other than rubber hoses. Are braided lines smaller and mover flexable?

What other options do I have other than rubber hoses. Are braided lines smaller and mover flexable?
Have you considered making a bracket holder out of simple metal to hold the lines in a specific position so that they can't bend? There should be plenty of places between the oil pan bolts, timing chain cover bolts and frame to make something work to hold a small bracket. This idea is similar to what is done to hold spark plug wires out of the way from headers. Does this make sense?

Sounds like It might work, but the PS hose have to move back and forth about 8" with the suspension. I binds when you make a hard left hand turn and the control valve is pushed toward the motor.

If you are a big dude, you can just loop the power rack and run manual. Thats what most of the RX7/LS1 guys do.

i found a guy here in town that can make any hose you want any lenght. if you give him sizes or a template he can do iit pretty cheap i had ac hoses from a 95 joind with ac hoses from a 98 for my swap and it cost me like $30 pm me if you want the info and i will dig it up
