Has anyone done this conversion and found an aftermarket hood that can supply Ram Air? I really dont want to restrict the inlet path with any bends. Not to mention ingest hot air.
I have been trying to find a pic of the underside of the SLP ultra Z hood.
Any other hood out there or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

you could just get a93-97 ss hood, and get a ram air setup from a 98-02 ss and graft the air box to the older hood. I would think that since they are the same hood, one later model airbox would bolt up with little or no modification to the older hood. Let me know what you end up doing because I am going to do the same swap in the near future. I am just collecting parts right now. Oh yeah and I have a few questions about your swap so I will just pm them to ya.
