LT1 and 6 sp into 77 vette how hard is it

Hi I'm looking to install a 93 LT1 with 6 speed into my 77 vette which has a tired L48 and 350 trans any help will be appreciated.

Hybrid forum deals primarily with LS1 swaps, I would actaully check out the C3 Forum on Corvetteforum, a couple of their guys have done the swap and would know C3s way better than any on this site.

not hard at all. the engine will drop right in. any headers that would have fit the current engine will work with the lt1. the trans will be the hardest part, but i believe there is a conversion kit availible for it. a new driveshaft will have to be made most likely. shifter location shouldnt be a big deal. i believe a special shift stick will be needed. over all the hardest part will be the electronics and getting everything routed and so that it looks good. the fuel lines should be replaced and a fuel pump will have to be installed. so some lines will have to be made up to connect the lines on the car to the engine.

definetly check the www.corvetteforum.com C3 section. i dont consider this a hard swap not like an ls would be anyway
