67-69 camaro conversion question
67-69 camaro conversion question Can anyone tell me what all parts from a 2002 Camaro donor car can be used in converting a 1st gen camaro to LS1/T56? I am thinking motor (with all accessories, computer, harness), transmission, front rack & pinion, and front & rear brakes (calipers and rotors). I guess the real question is, what all could I possibly want from the donor car that could be used on the 1st gen? Thanks in advance.
complete engine with harness, sensors, and accessories, as well as PCM.
transmission, and all related items
throttle cable and throttle pedal
battery/alternator harness
electric fans
steering rack and pump (not a direct bolt-in, but BRP can convert it to a kit)
seats (fronts are simple to modify to bolt right in)
brake calipers
Thats all I could think of. I used most of that stuff on mine
