She lives!!! Finally got my LS1 running today. Bit of an oil leak but other than that she sounds beautiful.
Couldn't've done it without the help I've had on this site, though, so thanks to all of your efforts!!

Please post a response on how it drives and what mods did you do to the engine? What size tires/gears? etc? I'm very curious being that I'm building something close to yours....but 550 lbs. heavier and less tire. Check the post below in the the conversion section.... Ls1miata!!! By the way go drive that beast!!!!!!

Here's the chassis it's based on.
Tyres are Toyo something (I'll have a look in the garage later), 245 at the back and 225 at the front, on 17" three piece billet alloys.
Gearbox is an unmodified T56 from the 2002 'Bird
I modified all the electrics myself and it is running the stock PCM with a Baker Electronics VATS/O2 module. I'll be posting wiring diagrams on my website once it is finished.
