2nd gen rx7 questions.... im intersted in doing this swap and wanted to know how i can tell the difference between the Turbo II rearends.... from what i understand this is the rearend that i want as its stronger.
i found an 1987 rx7 for 1250....what should i look for (besides a straight body, interior etc.) that would be favorable for the ls1&T-56 swap?

Try to find a Turbo II. This will have everything you need from the start.
You are going to be ditching most of Mazda stuff anyway, so other than getting a straight car with no rust, there isn't too much else to worry about.

right....one more qestion rx7 ben whats a GTU?
here im looking at a autotrader at for a 1988 mazda rx7 GTU in the description it says it has the turbo II tranny. now im thinking he means rearend right? if so thats what im looking for correct?
the turbo rearend is an LSD w/ 4.10's right?....
