V8 Dash Conversion

V8 Dash Conversion Pretty simple guys... i have a 98 pontiac firebird and i want to put the v8 guages in my car... now i know that there has been topics about this... BUT CAN I USE A 99+ dash cluster year with my car, or do i HAVE to look for a 98?
Also what kinda so problems would i run into? RPM's about 25% off?( not sure)
Speedo off? ( from what i have read i dont think so)

The feed to the gauges is different between the 98 and the 99-02.
The gas gauge reads differently too, different ohm range.
I'd go with a 98 cluster.
The speedo will be right. The odometer will be whatever it was from the donor car.
The tach will be off. Most people run something like the Dakota Digital Tach Adapter to fix that.

find someone who sells junkyard f-body parts and just ask em for a 98 cluster, im SURE there are hundreds laying around.
