3spd to 4spd auto LS1 in 81z-28 I've asked around but haven't gotten a reply from any one on this. The only conversions I've seen have been 6 spds. Can a complete drivetrain swap (motor, 4l80e auto, and rear axle) be done on a 1981 350 Z28. I know I need special motor mounts but are any mods needed on transmission mounts or crossbars? The rear axle will need to have the mounts changed but will it fit width wise? Are any changes to floor pan or trunk area needed? Right now I'm in the planing stage but any help would be great. thanks
