Default Traction control adaption

Does anyone know how the traction control signal works into the PCM? I imagine it is a frequency of some sort, can't seem to find any information on it.

TCS is actually linked into the Body Control module or BCM

Correct, but it's one wire into the PCM, which must be some sort of signal, not just on or off, to allow the PCM to activate the traction control and how aggressively.

the PCM commucates to other devices thru serial data... the scantool, tuner software, gauges, BCM, ect.. they all get their data to and from the PCM thru standard serial data connections.

This isn't the serial data wire, it is labeled Spark Retard Signal and is circuit number 1687 from the Electronic Brake Control Module. I am assuming it some sort of wheel speed differential signal using the ABS sensors.

possible.. i dont have anything infront of me telling me anything..

but the wheel/diff signals are just from a regular hall effect setup... square wave pulse and all..

just tap into it and use a scope if you really need to know.

Would be a good idea, but I don't have a GM chassis, I am going to have to 'borrow' an F-body to do just that. Then figure out what is coming out of my chassis's ABS computer as a signal. Then perhaps build a signal adaptor.
