Default need help engine want stay running, will pay for help

okay i had this engine running just fine but i had to pull the engine back ouyt to fix the trans, and now iv reinstalled it and found out the fuel relay control on the pcm wasnt working, so i hooked up a switch to cut the pump on, so i get that problem fixed and now the engine will rev really high and shuff off, when i try to start it, every thing is installed just the way it was before, and not sure why im having these problems, this is a s-10 ls1 swap iv been working on for 5 months now and im getting sick of it, i will pay anyone to come out and help me get this damn thing running, i live in Tifton, GA my cell 229-402-4917 name your price

When you rewired the PCM did you disconnect the circuit between the PCM and the fuel pump relay? Or did you disconnect it? I don't have a wiring diagram here and normally GM sets up fuel pump and the ECM and there’s nothing else on that circuit but its current state meaning has voltage or not may be effecting some other sub system. If the engine will race, then it has to be getting air from somewhere, which means there is a leak somewhere between the thottle plate and the intake valves. Does the throttle plate close all the way like it should? Did you hook up the vacuum line to the brake booster? Does it leak? I think it is extreamly unlikely that the PCM is gone bad.
After you find the leak, you might want to completely unconnect the PCM and and try again. If you have a leak downstream of the MAF, you will have really screwed up the mixture. Could it be so lean from the leak that it pops?

I did this same thing with a Northstar motor. It would start and go to some high level RPM. It turned out the intake manifold connection to the brake booster was underneath the intake manifold where it wasn't visible to remind me to plug it. It was amazing how much air a half inch diameter hole would flow.
