So it begins...fox conversion Step one.....Get 85 running 4cyl car with very nice interior for $90 DONE!!!
Step two.....Get a set of 4 17" 95 GT wheels and 2 15" steelies for E/T Streets for $25 DONE!!
Step three...Locate 8.8 in a junkyard, get appropriate 5 lug axles, 94+ rear discs and convert front to 5 lug with Aerostar rotors over the next few weekends for under $200
It will remain at stage 3 for quite a while, but the whole point to this project is how cheap can it be done. It will take a quite a while, but when it coems together.....

You should use 87-93 V8 mustang calipers and 11" Lincoln Mark 7 rotors. They are bigger and better than the 10" four banger and aerostar/ranger crap, and just as plentiful/cheap. Feel free to PM me if you need any help with mustang parts interchangeability. Also, check http://svo73mm.cjb.net/ for some handy 5 lug swap hints.

thank, I'll be PMing you soon! I'm ready to jump on the 5 lug part soon. Then onto thye chassis. I'd like to get the car ready for the motor, rather than drop a motor into a car that can't handle it!
drop the motor in and make it run... worry about replacing the axles afterward.

But, I'd rather have a 4cyl that can hendle anything, then drop the motor in, and have everything break so I can't enjoy it!
