what parts would i need to make this happen, aside from the engine and pcm, would the ls1 bolt strait up to its LT1 counter part as far as drive line is concerned? im guessing i would need a different cross member and motor mounts?

Where is the LS1 from? Is it a new crate motor, or out of a newer Vette, or out of a T/A or Camaro???

I have a similar swap underway. Its an 86 corvette 4+3. My engine is a 2003 lq9, ls6 intake, stock tb, meizer street pump... Im lost when it comes to the tranny, I need a bellhousing and clutch setup to either run a tko 600 or the stock 4+3 for a while (low funds). This swap shouldnt be that different from the 93. If I ever get this finished I want to write a guide with pictures...

I have been looking for a really long time for underhood pictures of a c4 ls1. Have found none.. I wanna see where the block sits, what it looks like, accessory mounting etc. If you know anything at all, I probably need to know it.

i am curently building a lq9 also...what would you recomend to get the most bang for my buck, im on a budget also.

 

I put an LS1 in my 84 Vette about 5 years ago(I was a true pioneer and Nineball saw it and gave me hell for wasting my money on it instead of building up my Trans Am, so I built it up also), hit me up with any Q's you have. Do a search for TracerX or LS1C4 on the corvetteforum
