But, on a serious note... engine swaps like these are not an easy project, and are DEFINITELY not cheap. You will have to custom make LOTS of parts and have to go through and modify or replace nearly every part of the car you are working on. It will cost you a LOT more than 3K... that will just cover the basics to get the drivetrain. Then you need wiring/tuning/header and or exhaust work.... and a thousand other things you can't even think of.

No offense, but, from the tone of your posts, it doesn't sound like something you are ready to tackle. Do a seatch and you will see most people have about $8000-$10,000 into their swaps once complete... some a lot more, and have a WHOLE lot of time invested. Many are WELL documented in this section and if you do a search you will see all their work outlined.

Default thnx for the feedback

thnx for the reply...u are rite i am far from rdy...im only 17...i have a passion for cars but im still a kid...i have many relatives who are into thsi kinda stuff..they are willing to help...but the money lookin to be spent just welded the door shut lol...10,000 is too much ... the first prices seemed about right i could make the 6 grand easy at work over the summer..rdy in time for my Senior year and the fabricating for the installation wont cost me anything because the family knows the fabricating...but the custom mounts and headers, i have no idea where to get that and if this project is going put me back 10 grand i would rather wait until im more capable of dishing that out...Thnx for the help the dream lives on but the planning phases are on hold lol
