Default Brake Servo connection to LS

Hi - I am just about to put my LS6 in to a TVR. This has two hoses for the brake servo (in / out?) that I need to connect up to the engine to get the assistance for the brakes.

Where should I connect these onto the LS engine (exhausts - don'y had std ones - Headers) or Inlet? is there some in / out ports that these connect to

Not sure why there would be two - one vacuum and one air intake probably. If so, the vacuum goes to large connector at the back of the intake and the air supply you can attach to any air filter source or just add a small filter to a section of hose.

Cheers for that - by the air filter source do you mean attach it to the inlet tract running to the MAF?

Going out on a limb here, I believe he means to attach a separate small air filter to the hose. I would think something like a breather filter. Just as an example...

Jellison. I would be more inclined to ask fellow TVR owners why there are 2 pipes for the servo. Usually there is only one vacuum source thats required, which you will find the takeoff for at the rear of the inlet manifold.

Does your car use a remote Servo ?? Is there perhaps 2 servos in there ??

Try sucking them....a pipe that attaches to a servo is basically a pipe into a closed chamber.

I actually started my engine today !!!!!!!!! It only had headers on it, so was a bit loud lol...

Still a few problems to sort, and it will be driving again.

Or indeed if you could get another pic, showing where those pipes attached on the old Rover engine.....
