Carbed LS2?

Carbed LS2? I know alot of you guys arent big fans of the carbed system on an LS1. I did a search and nobody has much first hand input on these. My question is, will the LS1 carb system bolt up to the LS2 motor(LS6 heads right) and will the coil system be compatible w/ the edelbrock ignition? Any imput you can give me would be great. Im gona call edelbrock tomorrow and see what they say. My coworker builds race carbs professionally and has access to an engine dyno. I was planning on going with an LS1 crate motor in my 81 chevy SWB P/U that’s been sitting in the driveway for to long., but I have some extra cash and Im just gona go with the LS2 crate motor now. So im gona start this summer and see what the LS2 will throw down on the superflow with my friends carb.

im guessing here. you might actually have to run a ls1 car or truck type coil pack. i think the ls2 uses a different harness for the coils, but the main plug may be the same to plug in the edelbrock kit.
DONT call them, you will be on indefinate hold.
