HPTuner question

HPTuner question I'm considering swapping a 5.3 or 6.0 into my 72 GMC pickup. My question is if I were to buy an 01 truck engine can I use HPTuner for both the new truck engine and my 01 Formula, or is HPTuner Platform specific also. It would be great if I could get it to reprogram both the truck engine and my car.

It's model and year specific... so the formula would use an 01 F-Body V8 license, the truck would use the appropriate truck license
But... when you buy HP Tuners, you get to select 2 vehicle licenses , so you could choose your 01 F-Body V8 , and the 01 Truck PCM (verify the PCM is for an 01 and the appropriate truck)
Or you could run the truck motor with an '01 F-body program and just change the appropriate displacement parameters. Then you could choose something else for your second vehicle type.
