LS1 instalation price??? yo, i just was wonderin how much it would be to have my ls1 put in my 89 iroc i have it sittin in my garage with ls6 heads,cam and intake and dont have the experience to tackle the install anyone know of anybody who installs this stuff or a price for labor? thanks.

You can do it. I did it with almost no prior knowledge of cars in general and without ever taking an auto class. I knew pretty much how an engine worked, and very basic knowledge but I dove in, learned a ton on this website, and now I can count the number of stock parts on my car with one hand. There are a lot of parts that are sold out there for this swap so you can do it without any fabrication. A basic motor/trans swap I dont see as being too hard. You can have an entire built drivetrain with the money you save from doing it yourself. Research it first, buy the right parts and your good to go....Unless you got cash to spend, then screw doin it yourself and leave it to the pros.
Where are you located? Yeah this swap has been done by quite a few people, and the parts are pretty easy to get. If your really interested in someobody performing the swap for you, let me know. I could help you out.
