LSx swap help with th350
motor was pulled from a truck with a 4L80, so the crank spacer is already attached.
its behind the flywheel, which id assume was correct, tho i have seen pics where people put it on in front of the flywheel. guess that depends on what flywheel you use?
my problem is the converter has no ajustment when bolted up to the flywheel.
it bottoms out on the front pump. no room at all to slide the converter back and forth between the tranny and flexplate.
the only thing i can think of is running a 1/8 spacer between the bellhousing and the block, similar to a BOP adapter.
im lost.
i can snug all the bellhousing bolts with my fingers, and the converter will still spin freely. one touch with a ratchet and the converter bottoms out on the crank spacer and the front pump and wont turn.
any suggestions?
thanks in advance.
6.0L flexplate, crank spacer. came on the motor pulled from the truck in the junkyard.
