Cool Glowing headers!

Just got my 6.0l running without any codes. However after my first test drive i noticed that my headers were glowing red where the tubes all meet together. What could be causing this? It is not throwing up any codes at all, should i be worried about this? Could i maybe have a bad o2 sensor or maybe these headers are just on the thin side. I am running Advanced Adapters center drop block huggers has anyone had this problem?

Was it both headers, or just one?

If it was just one, I'd suggest that you check to make sure the O2's are hooked up to the correct sides (might be flip-flopped).

If it was both, I'd keep looking.

mine also got hot (TPI engine) during initial startup mine was actually running pig rich and was "burning" in the headers. Mine ended up with a code and was a temp sensor it thought it was cold (very cold) and was dumping lots of fuel.

It is both sides. I am going to drive it around a little and then check my plugs that should tell the tale. thanks for all the help.
