http://www.hinsonsupercars.com/

I'm doing an LS1 swap into a 88 RX7 convertable. I'm ordering my parts from Hinson. He has a good reputation, but sometimes has slow turnaround time on some parts. Quality products, though.

I haven't heard many good things about Granny's.

My bad... I don't think Hinson makes a kit for a 83. Is that the first generation? He only makes kits for second and third gens (FC and FD).

Yes, I'm sure there are hundreds of 1st gen SBC. I only said that Hinson does not make a kit for them.

Look in the hosted forums near the bottom of the torque central web page for the V8RX7
forum.

A SBC kit with adapter plates will do it for ya. My '86 is done that way, fits like a glove. A big, heavy, aluminum glove.

Oh...Guess I misunderstood you. Since you said "well, there are HUNDREDS of SBC powered 1st gens. Shouldn't be any different!", who were you talking to when you said "shouldn't be any different"? I didn't see where your point related to any disscussion except to my post that was right before yours.

So, since this isn't my thread I'll just shut up now.
