fuel lines

fuel lines I have a 66 Nova With a 2001 z28 ls1 motor and m56 transmission and I'm using the 2001 fuel tank. I have three lines on the tank, vent, fuel in and fuel out. I have three lines on the motor as well. Can i just run lines to hook them together with an AC481 fuel filter or is there a better way? Looks like
GM used plastic lines would aluminum be safe to use?
