Bracket question????
Bracket question???? Hey guys I just finished redoing a wiring harness for my 6.0 swap so it will hug the block and be nice and tucked out of site. I have a question about the bracket on the back of the driver side head that is sort of an L bracket only with more of a 135 degree angle instead of a 90 and has a round shape to the end of it that its size mirrors the back of the injector rail and is spaced roughly 1 inch or so from the back of the rail. What is this bracket for? Does it have a use? Reason being its in the way and is not letting the harness hug the block and now because its not up against the block like I had measured, the plugs will not plug in for another inch or so. Can I just scrap this bracket? It is held in by one bolt and I am pretty sure it does not serve any purpose.

It might be the safety stop so the fuel rail doesn't rip itself off during an accident. I think it is the one on the drivers side, but don't remember the shape.
