Default LS2 into a 2nd gen

I'm wondering if a 05 GTO LS2/6spd swap into a 73 Z28 would be about the same swap wise as a LS1/6spd. I've found stuff that says the block is dimensionally the same but nothing about oilpan shape. I would guess the trans is pretty similar. Would the motor mounts from S&P work on something like this?
I checked out LS2.com but not much there yet.
thanks,
Erik

I believe the GTO oil pan is a Front sump design. I think all the oil pans are interchangeable though, so you could swap in a f-body pan and pick-up tube. Im not sure on the motormounts.

other then the oil pan, and maybe the accessories(dont know if there different on the GTO) it should be no different then swaping in a ls1. Only other thing that would be different is the wiring harness, but i see that speartech is doing ls2 harness now.
