v6 camaro to v8

I was wondering if anybody has made a v6 camaro to a v8 by swaping the motors out. I have the ls1 motor.

Thanks for replyin the motor is a 98 ls1 wit the t56 trannyand the car is goin too be either a 98 or 99 v6 camaro

i have the las1 motor and the reason why i wondering this is because of insurance prices if i buy a v6 and swap it out to a v8 the insuranc will cost as much as if its a v6. got me? thanks for the post

stick with a 98 V6 car if possible. 98's have some slight differences from the '99-'02 cars and the '98 to '98 swap is supposedly the easiest. Check out this link for more info:

There are other sites out there as well - do some searching before you buy your V6 car or any other parts. Doing your research now will help you realize if you even want to attempt the swap!
