So I'm doing the LS1 S-10 4x4 swap and I'm in the process of converting the fbody motor over to the vette accessories. I want to keep the factory location of the AC compressor and know I'm going to need to notch the frame to make it fit. My question is can I keep the factory fbody AC compressor and use the rest of the vette accessories and brackets. I have a vette AC compressor from a 2002 but it's a different part number than a '99 and it's actually about 3/8 of an inch wider than the factory fbody compressor. Does anyone know if I can run the fbody compressor and vette accessories without messing up the belts or anything like that? Thanks a lot.
