Upgrade technology I'm tryin to swap out a 95 LT-1 and 4L60E out of a 95 Z-28 into my 71 Olds Cutlass. Whats the best way and what are my dos and don'ts? The Z-28 only has 35k on it but got wrapped and a phone pole. any shops local for me to see ? Live in Colorado Springs, CO.
Welcome aboard! You'd probably get more input from an LT1 message board rather than an LS1 message board.
Bottom line is that it shouldn't be much of an issue. SBC motor mounts should work fine, you'll need electric radiator fans, high pressure fuel pump and wire up the PCM.
