newbie questions I have a couple rookie question for you guys.
1) Can I rewire the one wire f-body altenator to use my factory two wire G-body harness? I am doing a carb set up so I am not using the f body harness. I hate to gave to buy a altenator relocation bracket from S&P. It would probably be a fortune. Any suggestion would be great.
2) Were can I install my mechanical water temp and oil pressure gauges on my f body LS1? I have heard a couple things but am a little confused.Thanks for the help. Andy

There is an aluminum plate just below the oil filter . It has a short nipple sticking up that can be drilled and tapped. That's where I put my stock Mazda pressure sensor (1/8 npt). On the rear of the passenger side head there is a hex plug (M12x1.5 if I recall correctly). That's where the stock Mazda coolant temp sender went. Got a 1/8 npt adapter from egauges.com that screws right in. Also there is a coolant drain plug near the starter. Hope this helps a little.
