New Conversion Idea Ok I got a 2001 Mercedes Benz C240 and thought about the possibilities and Im thinking an LS1 with 6speed tranny. What do you guys think? I hate the performance, but the rest of the car is pretty decent.....im kinda

have you looked at the crossmember to check oil pan fit?
I dont know how you would get your speedo to work, would be a shame with the nice cluster on the C-class.
I would love to do this swap, but I want to wait for C240's to go down in price first.

Are you running factory steering box with linkage or converting to rack and pinion?
