p/n switch, fuel pump ??

p/n switch, fuel pump ?? 1. I am swaping a truck 5.3L in and I do not have a Park / neutral switch on the trans. the truck wiring has 4 wires to the switch that are all grounded in park or neutral. My car has a single wire switch that grounds in park or neutral. Does anyone know it I can just tie all 4 wires from the truck harness together and run them to my switch, or do the wires need to be kept seperate until they are grounded?
2. I am putting a 2000 ac delco camaro fuel pump into my 85 el camino sending unit. The camaro pump has the large nipple for pressurized fuel, but it also has a small brass nipple which goes to a black hose. Does anyone know what the second nipple is for? can I just cap it off?
