4L60E in 88GTA
4L60E in 88GTA Still trying to finish up the parts list for this LS1 swap. Will the stock shifter in the 3rdGen work with the 4L60E? Is the console going to be ok too or will I have to hack on it to move shifter location? Thanks to everyone who's answered previous questions, especially you 3rdGen guys. Getting ready to get started on this and want to have most of the parts installed or on hand ready and keep thinking of other things (like the shifter).

Another question came up too. If I use the truck coils to help with clearance issues do I need to get a set of truck wires or will regular fbody wires work out ok. Doesn't look like the location is that much different but doesn't look like there's a lot of extra slack in the plug wires either.
Getting down the gritty details on the parts list now. I'm trying to do a good job of documenting things as we move forward. I imagine I'll be asking more once we actually start hooking everything up and getting the wiring started.
