Default Engine mount adapters???

Hi,
Could someone please tell me the difference between the S&P and BRP engine mount adapter plates, I know that the BRP would put the engine about 1-3/4" more forward than the S&P, what would this affect? I will be using a Wayne Due sub-frame with 84-87 vette suspension.
I have LS1 driveshaft and original one from my 1969 Camaro.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

I believe you have to run Rack&Pinion steering to use the BRP setup. But since you are using a different subframe, I'm not sure. My S&P plates sat my motor almost all the way against the firewall. But I still had to have the oil pan notched since I was using the stock steering setup.

Use the S&P style mounts with the Wayne Due frame. You will have no accessory clearance issues with that frame, and having an engine further back in the chassis is a good thing.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the info, S&P mounts it is!
Hi Tyler, we chatted several times when 50/50 body was first meeting chassis. Hope to be able to pick all of your collective brains for this project.

You should stop by the shop, we have some items to make that install go smoother (As well as having installed a WD chassis into a 67 earlier this year.)
