Hey ya'll, maybe you could help me out here. A friend of mine just bought a 2003 Chevy S10 Xtreme with the single cab and stepside short bed. It's a great looking vehicle and has only 30,000 miles on the stock 4.3L v6 and the automatic transmission. He's really wanting a race truck on the side or to convert a v8 into his truck. Is there any way that a LT1 or LS1 conversion would be possible and/or practical in his truck? Or possibly a 5.0 motor or something to that extent? He needs to be able to pass GA emissions and run on pump gas. Thanks!
