Default ls1 motor in a 97 v6

im new to domestics, as u can tell i drive a honda but thats besides the point. my question is my gf just bought a 97 special edition auto v6 but the engine needs a rebuild and i found an ls1 out of a 2000 ss with 50k miles for 1500 and a friend and i would do the work ourself. ive done swaps on hondas and integras and hes more of the domestic kinda guy so i think we could do it cuz hes done 4 swaps. the engine is complete with everything i need to drop in do u think thats a good price for the engine and on a scale of 1-10 how hard would it be including the wiring and all? if there is a link could you please tell me?

i know im new so dont flame me or anything just be cool and direct me to the right place. thanks in advance

You need to get the whole 2000 car . Are there will be a lot of extra things youll need that will make the swap worth the money youll put in it . Also do a search in this thread there a lot of v6 to ls1 swap info here .
