Default ls1 in a challenger

say a 71 or so....has anyone tried it? i love challengers, and i love my ls1....

Don't think I've heard of an LS1 going into an older Mopar. DO IT !! It'll likely make the hardcore Mopar guys send you death threats, they're a strange bunch

i love Mopar's but im not too keen on the whole carb thing...i know LS1's, so it would make sense to find a car i like, and put a motor i like in it

id stick a 440 or a 496 stroker, in a challenger, keep it mopar, but then again thats just me.

Talking LS1 Mopar..............

I'd say do it!! But, watch out for those mopar guys, they don't like mopar hybrids. It seems sacreligious to them. I have always wanted to swap a gen I sbc into a dart, just to iritate them, all in fun though.

i only thought of an LSx motor b/c i dont know anything about old school motors, carbs and suchs....and LSx motors have proven themselves to me. not to mention it would be original
