Default Fuel Fitting??

I'm working on the fuel system for my LS2 conversion into my 88 Monte SS. I have a GN gas tank and a walbro 340 pump, plus the stock GN sender/hanger. I have a -08an feed and a -06an return stainless braided line. What would be the best way to connect these stainless AN lines to the metal lines coming out of the sender on the top of the tank? Remember, the lines coming out of the sender are metal, not soft aluminum.

Would double hose clamps surfice seeing that factory TPI cars do this? Or is there an adapter I should use?

Or where can I find AN fittings that I can solder on? Can I solder them on or does it take a special setup?

Any ideas???

Thanks
Nick

Use an AN Compression Fitting. Adapts AN Fittings to Metal Tubing

No soldering required.

There are special fuel line hose clamps that should be used for the connections if you chose to use high pressure rubber fuel line. A better option would be to double flare the metal lines on the sender assuming there is plenty of length to do that.

I am using a stock FI sender for my El Camino and the supply line has a male sagnaw threaded connector on it so I went to the dealer and found a female connection to flex line from a blazer that worked. It was a factory piece that the connector is on the flex line that changes to a hard line. I double flared the hard line and connected it to a -06 AN fitting that is the special quick coupling fitting for the Corvette fuel filter/regulator. The other sender lines I used high pressure rubber fuel line and fuel line clamps, for the return and vapor line on the sender.

I got my quick connect to -06 AN adapters from Pure Choice Motorsports.LLC or purechoicemotorsports.com

I am using hose clamps on the short rubber line feeding my pump. The compression fittings would be better, but the hose clamps work fine.
