I have a 5.3L and I am feeding it with a 3/8" line, seems like most people use 3/8" feeds and 5/16" returns. I would just use what ever size AN line that is equivalent to 3/8" line.

6AN is equivilant to 3/8ths. I use 8AN to the pump and 6AN to the rails.

I used -6 from the tank to the fuel rail. No issues yet on a cammed LS1.

AN size divided by 16 = diameter in inches. 6/16=3/8" and 8/16=1/2"

If you are building a real fire breathing monster, then a 1/2" line is in order, but if not then a 3/8" line should suffice. I like to run Stainless hard lines for all but the last foot or so at each end for vibration control. I just do not like the idea of using hose for the whole length.

-6an will support 600hp on a N/A application.
-8an is a good idea if you plan to boost or spray.
good luck.
