Default 02 sensor questions.

Working on my ls1 swap into a 69 Camaro. Got the car running however I notice the o2 sensors are always warm. I'm very unfamiliar with proper operation of the o2's but i wouldnt think they should be heated when the car sits. I went out today after not starting the car for several days and noticed this. Can someone tell mr if this is proper operation? Thanks

Go out after a long shut down with the hood open.. Plenty of time to cool... Then touch them.

A four wire 02 has a heater element.... shut down, key out of the ignition the whole down time... the o2 should be the same temp as everything else..

Turn the key not even to start and it turns on the o2 heater...

Default Heater Element On the fritz’s

Check to see if you have Voltage between C and D of the Ho2 connector while the key is removed. If so you have Battery power connected to an Ignition power and can cause strange running and power conditions. Also check the pin locations to see if the sensor is wired correctly. (A)=Tan passenger Tan / Wht =Driver (B) = Purple Passenger / Driver, Purple / Wht
(C )= Blk Ground D = Pink / Ignition power.
