Engine Dimensions
Colorado Engine Dimensions I have noticed that a few enterprising souls have begun to swap LS engines into the Colorados and Canyons 
. Oddly enough, it's the engines that are being pulled out that I'm interested in 
. If anybody still has a 5 cylinder laying around, I would really appreciate a few dimensions.
The dimensions I'm looking for are:
LENGHT as measured from the tranny mounting surface to the very front, and to the front of the cam cover or cylinder head.
HEIGHT as measured from the crank center line to the top of the cam cover.
If some one has the 4 cyl. or even the 6 cyl. out of a Trailblazer or Envoy, the above dimensions along with the center to center distance between the spark plugs would also help me out.
I was also wondering if GM used the small block/LS bellhousing bolt pattern on these inliners, or did they throw us a curve ball and use a different bolt pattern.
