LT1 and T56 work in a 1970 Nova?

LT1 and T56 work in a 1970 Nova? I'm pretty sure getting the engine in their wont be too much of a problem. But i was worrying, has anyone even tried to put a T56 in a 70 Nova? And does anyone make a wiring harness for something like this? Any info well help, thanks
That would definately be an easy swap, compared to a jap car. The subframe is identical to my '67 camaro, as i stole the front two pieces of subframe stabbing out from a '70 nova in the junkyard. The suspension and subframe are VERY VERY close between the two. I'll have to cut out a bit of the tunnel, to fit the big T56, but even the Street&Performance motor mounts will work. I said forget paying that much, and got mine from ebay member. "carshopinc." Mine were item number 7997699031. They are the adapters that allow you to use the standard 3-bolt engine mounts. I got new poly-urethane ones from autozone, then those plates, and the engine is good. You'll need a different crossmember to hold the tranny, there's a few companies that make tubular ones. Oh yeah, speartech makes a standalone harness, as well as painless, i believe. Speartech is a sponsor to the right. Speartech is a sponsor on the right, and painless's site is www.painlesswiring.com. I'm modifying the original engine harness from the LS1, because i can't afford a standalone one, and also modifying the stock engine harness to just get power, make the heater work, etc. I'll put the pink wires from the ECU to the ignition switch, which'll also turn on the stock wiring harness for lights, etc. I haven't got it done yet, but i believe that'll work.
