The stock Corvette compressor is in the same place (slide back a tad).
There have been discussions about relocating a different compressor or using a smaller one in the stock spot.

I'm sure S & P is not what you'd call a "budget option".
Which means you've got a couple of remaining options:
1.) Ditch the AC completely (not necessarily practical, depending upon location).
2.) Figure out a way to hack space for the existing AC compressor (may require Significant hacking, chopping, and welding on your existing frame / crossmember, again may not be practical).
3.) Build yourself an AC compressor mount to suit your location needs (clears frame, hood, whatever else you've got to work around, but this will depend upon your fabrication skills being good enough and having some equipment).
I haven't seen too many other setups for relocating the AC compressor....But you're welcome to search the web and see for yourself.....
Obviously, you're going to have to make the decision as to which of the 4 options you pick. Money, time, skill, safety, and vehicle value will all play roles.....Good luck.

I'm particularly interested in using a smaller one in the stock spot... anyone have any input on that? (could perhaps require a little modification of the stock bracket as well)
