1970 corvette LS2 swap is underway
1970 corvette LS2 swap is underway Well I have been debating this for a while but I have decided to start putting my LS2 into my 1970 corvette. I have a heads cam LS2 in my formula. I am returning it back to stock and putting the LS2 and T-56 in the corvette. I started to do a frame off on this car and after I por-15'd the whole frame/chassis and put the body back on I stopped working on it. Now I have the bug again. The project goes underway this weekend and will go well into next summer I'm sure. Here are some pics of the car as it stands. When I recieve the car it was a complete and running car.

Good luck !! you're gonna need it ! My 70 looked just like that 3 years ago. Seems like no matter what you do it takes longer and costs way more than you ever thought it would. But its worth it in the end. Stan 70 Corvette LQ4 4 speed
Dejavue!!! Thats about what my wifes 84' vette looked like when I spent 2 years rebuiding it only to have the body shop burn down 3 days after I finished painting it. It's ok though, I got a 95 now w/ LT4 conversion. Good luck!
