Was coming home tonight (around 11:00 p.m.) - no cars on the street... as I 'm at the light I see these wide low set lights and what pulls next to me but a C6 convertible. Now if it was earlier in the day , more traffic... no way ... can't mess around like that anymore. But with a dead street and a C6 I did the stupid thing .. I baited him!!! He looked over at me ( and my primered junk pile - 74 Camaro) and I smiled as the light turned I stayed ahead by a little then as the speed progressed we were full throttling !! I was a little surprised how easily I pulled on him. I know it's a vert. it's probably an auto but my car still hasn't been tuned yet. I'll bet he didn't count on this happening. This was my 1st encounter and the car doesn't seem quicker than my 01SS. Maybe it's faster than I thought. The two cars are so different - the 74 is rattling and loud and to me the smooth (ss)car actually seems faster all things being equal. Can't wait to get it tuned and take it to the track and race "legally". It should be a mid 12 sec. car... hopefully. Maybe quicker.
