Default lt1- ls1 in 64 nova

i have 64 nova that i am currently putting a lt1 in i already have the motor and already have most the parts picked out but i have been seeing alot of ls1's for sale for fairly cheap prices i need opinions on weter or not i should sel the lt1 and get a ls1 or not i am putting a whole new front clip on the car and am looking at alot of money on a tight budget considering my age haha thanks for any help

Well the best bang for the buck is the ls1, and if you are going efi, and will be wiring the car, id do it once.
But thats just imo.
The potential of the ls1s with mods is well above that of the lt1s...
If you are going to set up the car, might as well do it once

Dont discriminate against the cheaper truck motors you might find...
Im doing my 62 Chevy II Lsx conversion with a 5.3 for now, and ill move up to something bigger later.
Dont limit what youre looking for...
5.3, 5.7, 6.0 all good choices.

yea i might go with a 6.0 with a turbo later that is a nice setup
