Which year Throttlebody? I got a 2001 6.0L Long block off Ebay that I'm putting in my Jeep. I'm slowly collecting all the parts I need to complete the motor. I have several parts so far, but still don't have a throttle body. Will throttle bodies from other years work with this motor or will only the 2001 work with this? Considering the interchangeability of the vortec truck motors and their parts, I'm assuming that several years will work for my application, but which ones? I'd like to keep it a cable operated throttle body, but I also want to set-up cruise control.
I’m sure that the answers have to be on here somewhere, but I've been searching on here and Performancetrucks.net for a few hours now, and haven't been able to find the answers.
