same question My buddy has a 94 convertible V6 Camaro, and we are looking into options as well. His tranny is shot, and his engine is on it's way out so a conversion seems like it might not be a bad idea, we are also looking for guidance as to what might be the best path. I know one guy at the local drag strip has a twin turbo V6 buick that's running over 1100 hp, but I don't think we want to go that extreem. So, what would most people reccomend, a V6 turbo rebuild, or an LS1 swap? I think his V6 is the 3.4 Liter, not the 3.8.

I did the 94 3.4 v6 to a 97 corvette ls1 swap...**** aint cheap....but if yall decide to do it ...go with a camaro ls1 ...less of a hassle, unless you like moving accessories and changing harmonic balancers and such lol
