Question traction control in a 1st gen

has anyone adapted traction control in a conversion/hybrid situation?
what would you need ? would the traction control be able to be adjusted with any of the tuning software available ? kind of a hypothetical question but might be something i"d like to try to really suprise people at the autocross meets/trackdays. any help, comments or humorous anectdotes would be appriciated

I know a guy that set up traction control on his Ultima GTR. He had it run through the fuel injection. I am not sure if it would work on a carburated engine. They had speed sensors picking up the bolts for the brake rotor to the hub. I can't remember what kind it was though. I will have to ask.
