Re: Fiero If the LS1 doesn't fit, why not the NorthStar?! They drop the entie motor/tansaxle in them. Considering the biggest piece of **** in the Fiero conversion is the weak-*** trans. The NS has 300 from the get-go, and they actually have a lot of mods for them. There is a company that all they do is NS motors...anyone here think of the nam and website?!?!

Re: Fiero Something i just thought of....You might try using a TH-325 or TH-425 transaxle from a Olds Toronado or older Eldorado, the engine mounts longitudinally (front to back) with the transmission to the side via i believe a chain drive. Its an automatic transaxle and for a traditional small block it requires an oil pan for swapping a small block into a 4wd S-truck. Plus they had Olds 455s and Cadillac 472/500s bolted to them, so they can take torque. Good luck on that project.
