Driveshaft: hybrid Ujoints?

Driveshaft: hybrid Ujoints? I am using a 99 Camaro driveshaft. Already had it shortened. I have an adapter for my differential that is meant to accept a standard GM UJoint.
So, this shoulda been obvious, but the 99 driveshaft uses completely different UJOints than "standard". The cups are larger and the way it installs is different (C clips near the center as opposed to expansion clips on the cap faces).
So, since people seem to routinely swap TH400s in their FBodies, this ought to be soluble, right? Anyone happen to have a part number or recommend a parts place I can call/email?
I really, really, really hope I don't have to get another driveshaft and then get it shortened...

Re: Driveshaft: hybrid Ujoints? Not a problem...go to any driveline shop and show them your OEM U-joint and they can sell you a "conversion" u-joint design for non-OEM applications.
