Parts MUST have for conversion I have a lead on a 8.1L motor that I can get relitively cheap ($3000 price range).
Question is what else do I need from the truck to make this thing work? He has the factory wirining harness and brain boxes along with most the acc.
Do I need the steering column and/or dash or anything under the dash??
This is going in a 72 chevy 4x4 and hopefully will have a NV4500 behind the motor (still need pieces for that also)

All you need is the engine, harness, ECU and the other usual crap like coils, intake, oilpan, exhaust manifolds, accs, etc. It's a Cable TB(from what I remember) so you do not need any more "brain boxes"
