Neutral safety switch?

Neutral safety switch? How did you guys handle the neutral safet switch in first gen camaro with 6 speed?
I know what wires in the car but is there a plug on 6 speed tranny to hook it up or have to install a switch to the pedal? I knew the solution but it's been a while and forget about it. pls give me some light on this .

I like to know how to wire the car so that without pressing the clutch it would not start. Should we fab a switch on the pedal or is there a switch built already in the tranny?
Allso how about back up lights?
Any toughts?

A clutch safety switch really doesn't have anything to do with the transmission. There are no provision on the stick shift for such a thing. The clutch safety switch will need to be on the clutch, and go inline with the starter or starter relay to close the circuit and allow power from the key to the starter when the clutch pedal is pressed.
